Enlightenment

I lost a pen that I was beginning to love between my office and my home. I must find it.

To the actual topic of this blog: Enlightenment.

On a daily basis, we come into contact with situations and events that we can gain from or ignore. In my recent years it has become quite apparent to me that no matter the case I should walk away having gained some knowledge. Something occurred today that allowed me to be present to this thought once again.

A client from the animal hospital I use to work out died early this morning from a heart attack. He woke up, took 3 gasps of air and died. No prior warning signs. I was not close to this person by any means. But it truly put me in a space of belittlement. Though I am constantly grateful for my life and appreciate the things the universe has blessed me with; Having the thought that one day, it is completely possible I might wake up and unexpectedly pass on to my next life.

This thought left me feeling incomplete. So I took a stand for my life. I am committing myself to Loving, Living, Appreciating, Experiencing life to it's fullest. No matter the circumstances. No longer will I let little things irritate me or gossip about things that really don't matter. I have this opportunity to live in this place, in this time and be whom ever I wish to be, and that is a fact. I'm going to take advantage of that.

I dare you to do the same. Ask yourself daily, "What if this is my last day in this life?" See where it takes you.

Watch out world. Here I come!

A Tribute

I go through waves of inspiration and every time I'm not inspired, without realizing it, I stumble upon something that slaps me in the face a screams, "LOOK AT WHAT YOU ARE MISSING OUT ON!"

I do in fact, LOVE my life. However there are parts of it that are undeveloped, stale and practically waiting for the right moment to explode into something beautiful and unrecognizable.

On twitter, I follow @lissarankin. I highly recommend you do to. Not only is she a fabulous inspiration to all women every where but she is motivated, loved, loving and adorable :). You can see all of this just by taking a gander at her blog: http://www.owningpink.com .

Through said inspiration I am making a commitment to enlighten my life and those in it to push themselves to be who they really want to be. To see that whatever you want is completely possible. Who knows where this journey will take you, or me for that matter.

Follow me and my adventures, who knows where life will take us!

BIG THANKS to @lissarankin. Thank you for being who you are. <3
